What I Wore - Leather, Knit & Ruffles

How much do I love Fall you ask?

I love it as much as the combinations Leather, Knit and Ruffles come together so perfectly. I love mixing a ridiculous amounts of textures and I do this more than I mix colors. It is far less daunting and lets be honest a ton of fun when I can still pull off wearing Ruffles at 28 years old. You know I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty sure Ruffles, Bows and Polka Dots will still be a staple in my wardrobe when I'm eighty six and a half. They will never out grow this girl. Never!

DIY Gem Shoes

Saw a pair of shoes that I just loved over at Ashbury Skies, however it was one of those pairs that you may only strut in a few times a year, if that. They are fun, fabulous and who doesn't love the idea of a Shoe covered in Sparkling Gems. I had a pair of black leather wedges kicking around that were screaming to be used.... after completing my DIY, they told me they had never been so happy.

What I Wore - Jeans, Lace & Leopard

Can one be obsessed or even infatuated about a piece of clothing? I say "heck yeah"....

I just bought this coat the other day while my husband and I were out. It's the perfect length, just enough detail and a collar to die for. When it comes to a coat I am all about small details and collars make my heart skip a beat. So when my husband pulled this coat off the rack and I saw the leather elbow pads and puffed collar I was pretty much sold. Lucky for my husband it was only made in Chocolate Brown, if they had it in Tan, Mustard or Teal I would have bought all 3.

I felt the outfit was calling for a pattern, so the shoes I DIY'd here were perfect, Leopard Shoes and a Army Green, White and Black Accessory. Perfect I'd say... and what I say goes here because damn it this is my blog.

The Best of the American Music Awards 2011

I don't like to be negative or mean, when it comes to peoples take on trends. I used to give my opinion on my Blog after feeling cruel, and just not appreciating of others style. I am sure they felt beautiful and perfect in their outfits chosen, so why should I see any different? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Right? So for me, today, I will post what I personally thought worked brilliantly, on the celebs at The American Music Awards last night.

I can't stop myself.... shopping online!

I found these two online retailers and I can't stop myself from looking. I am allowed to look right? However with the holiday season ahead I just can't let myself get out of control as these days we are purchasing for everyone but ourselves. I guess its okay - considering the other 10 months out of the year their is no hesitation to for myself. I think that's a fair trade.

What I Wore - Knit, Roses & Bows

I fell in love with this sweater the moment I set eyes on her. Sweaters - I find can be a tough buy for a women with a more voluptuous figures, such as myself. If its too baggy or bulky in the wrong are's it can make you look less like a cute ski bunny and more like a beastly Sasquatch. This sweater was snug and thin enough to work just perfectly for me. Very happy with this purchase especially because it was on clearance for $16 - I'd say a WIN WIN for all {and by all I mean me, myself and I}

It did come with a belt that was too low for my waist so I cut it off and made my headband as well as the Bows on my socks. Of course I also made Sofia Marie a matching headband... and we sported them all through Whistler when we were there. I'd say we were the cutest Mama and Daughter duo walking the Village.

Fashionable Paws... What do you think?

Louboutin's Lion Paw Heels are the latest to hit the Celebrity Trend. What do you think? I'm impartial at the moment. Paired causally, like Blake Lively has done, I think is fun, Sarah Jessica on the other hand, I believe took it to a level that I would not personally attempt. Having said all that, style is personal beauty, and if SJP looks in the mirror and smiles at the reflection in content, then "paw-gone-it" she should strut confidently in a red evening gown with them $5,000 paws.
