Welcome...

I shop all too often considering I despise mail from Mastercard. I sip from fine china that is far older than the Queen. I daydream of a closet filled with Chanel. AND... If that all wasn't enough for the mind, I am a brand new mother of a baby girl, who at 4 months preferred gazing at my Wedding Ring than her plush toys.

2012 New Years Resolutions

2012 is quickly approaching and something tells me you are all like me, and are making our promises once again to the new year as we speak. Mine are usually the same each and every year.... exercise, drink more water, eat healthy and of course shop more! I only ever succeed at one.

This year is going to be a little different however. What's so different you ask.... this year I am telling all of you, which means I sorta feel obligated to stick to 2 out of the 4 at least. I mean what type of person would I be if I didn't. So here is to shopping more and drinking water colored with Crystal Lite. Who's with me!?

What are the resolutions you will be making to break in 2012?!?!
Do tell, I might wanna add them to my ever growing list of "things I will never do for a consecutive 365 days".

Battle Baby Bulge

Over the Holiday's  I watched what I ate, still enjoying everything it had to offer me... from the Fluffy Mashed Potatoes to the Creamy Gravy all the way to the Cheesecake and Cookies.... but I enjoyed them in smaller portions. I thought "I won't deprive myself", but I will jump in, in less of a "miss piggy" sorta way. I believe it could have been way worst than what it was {1.8lb gain in 3 weeks}, however I will take it with a and "grain of salt" and know that I MUST do better in 2012.... MUST. MUST. MUST.

I have no games yet for the xbox and therefore the only work out I got with the box was from flicking through netflix. BOOOOO.

What I Wore - Jeans, Leather & Studs

Found an old "Fashion Friday" that I couldn't help but share. Totally forgot about my DIY Distressed Jeans made when I just wasn't sure If my thighs would love being bared to the world. What I think I miss the most however, is my Blonde Streak.... something you may not know about me, my hair is naturally blonde, well was anyways before I started coloring it dark. Seeings as I have not been to my hairdresser in over a year {no word of a lie}, I think I'm due for a change. Hmmmm what to do. what to do.

Any suggestions?!

Personal Stylist: Transatlantic Blonde

Personal Stylist: Transatlantic Blonde

A Fashion Lover and Blogger like myself, Miss Transatlantic Blonde was asking for some help on pairing an outfit together. She purchased a Dress for her Mother-In-Law's upcoming Wedding. The Dress is absolutely gorgeous and I was happy to try and mix and match some items with it. I was not sure if she is a "pumps or flats" kinda girl so I gave both options. Heck if it were me, I'd buy both and change halfway through the night, especially since she has a baby boy that will probably be keeping her on her toes all evening.
Now as for the clutch I was thinking she could DIY something that would match her husband and son's kilts. Since I have kept things very very neutral I think she could get away with pairing a striped clutch. Don't you think?

Do you need help putting together an outfit? Do you want one perfectly styled to you, your style and budget? Send me an e-mail I'd be happy to "style" something just for you!

DIY Shamballa Bracelet

These Shamballa "bad boys" are priced at $170 plus. I thought they were mad until I realized they were made of Swarovski Crystals and some Diamonds. I understand their cost HOWEVER I knew I could make one easy on my own, and of course much more affordable. Costing me about $20 as I chose a more expensive bead, I could have made it for far less, about $5 or so.

My cousin came into town to visit with Sofia, Sammy and I, the morning she arrived I saw this Bracelet {pictured on the right} for sale for $169 and thought I couldn totally make that. Better yet, I could make that with Carmen, a crafting buddy. Loved the random idea I had, as I don't normally craft with others. After I told Carmy, she was all in, skeptical that we could actually pull it off. But thanks to YouTube DIY's and other Bloggers who, like me, am obsessed with DIY.... WE DID IT!

Has anyone else made a Shamballa Bracelet? Do share!

PS: If you wanna follow the same tutorial I did, here is the link

What I Wore - Silk, Stripes & Leopard

Headed out for the afternoon yesterday with Sammy and my Baby Girl. At this time of year I find we are out each and everyday checking off a list of tasks that we have created in the morning of things we must get done. When does it stop?! Is is just me, or do you too have a never ending "to do" list?

One of the things on our list was an Office visit at my old place of work. Got to visit with the ladies I used to work with, and share Sofia and her sweet lil' smile with them all. Its pretty neat to think I used to be there each and everyday with her in my tummy, and now she is out and visiting with each of them in the flesh. So cute! She saw her favorite shopping buddy {aka her BFF} and she just loves her to pieces. We were fashion obsessed cubical buddies when I was there, Crystal-Ann would chat with my belly daily, and seeing as Sofia smiles each and every time she walks in the room, she knows and she remembers. I just know the 3 of us are going to have a BLAST shopping together when Sofia is old enough.

DIY Chanel Inspired Coin Bracelet

Saw this on one of my fabulous fashion APP's and it had me inspired to make a coin bracelet of my own. I made my coins of of Polymer Clay. Cutting out circles with a cookie cutter and then joining them all together with gold rings. I know its no where near as luxurious as Chanels, but lets be honest... I have a baby girl that I would rather spend and extra couple thousand dollars on. But it is beautiful, don't get me wrong, and if someone wanted to buy it for me I would not decline the gift!

Anyone been inspired lately by something Flashy or Luxurious and you made something at a quarter of the cost {or in my case a thousan-ths of the cost}to fix your desire?!?

PS: If you have yet to vote for my baby girl, who is starring her sweet lil face in a photo contest. I would love your VOTE. We are 800 short of a WIN and really need all the help we can get. It's the easiest vote ever, click THIS LINK and simply click vote. No forms to fill or registration.

PPS: If you're REALLY feeling in the Christmas Spirit, I'd love for you to share the link on your Blog or Facebook FanPages for some extra exposure. HELP ME WIN: Sofia's First Christmas

I have entered Miss Sofia Marie in a Christmas Photo Contest and I would love for all your help in her first photo victory! My girl friend, Erika and I planned this shoot for quite sometime, however with illness, plans and many many other hiccups we couldn't get it done until the other day. However with all the little road bumps along the way, I'd say this was way worth the wait. Wouldn't you agree?

Now since I was a little late, we have 14 less days than everyone else who entered at the start of this competition. So to say the least, I have some lost time to make up for. The voting goes until January 6th, 2012 and at Midnight the photo with the MOST votes wins. Only 1 vote per person so I am banking on all of your to SHARE this link so that we can get the most people to vote. Simple as that!

I would love for your help in this win, PLEASE!

What I Wore - Velvet, Linen & Stripes

I love making something or something... don't get what I mean? Neither do I....
No but really... the shirt I am wearing is actually a Dress. I tightened it where it was needed and safety pinned the back.... pretty fantastic way to keep a piece in your wardrobe from being pushed to the side due to the chilly weather! Also I'm growing a new obsession... what you ask? It is to mix as many colors as I can without offending anyone... next goal is 7 colors!!! Keep your eyes out for it. Anyone else out there mix a ridiculous number of colors or patterns? I wanna see...

My next DIY.... Help!

While Christmas shopping, I came across what I think is a fabulous skeleton for my next DIY. Finding it at a Home Decor Store locally, regularly costing $20 but on for $5... I couldn't leave it behind. My eye and heart had already seen it and couldn't top thinking about it. So in the shopping cart she went.

After getting home from our day of Christmas Shopping, I got to set my eyes on her again and my mind began wandering. What could, should, would I do with this piece that I will be forever happy with? What could I paint, adhere, sparkle or attach to her that would have it go from Home Decor Box to Must Have Handbag. Of course I quickly ran my little fingers on over to Polyvore and got my hunt on. Now to chose where this bag will go... what direction should I take her in people? HELP!

Personal Stylist: Miss Kaitlin

Option No Budget Wedding Outfit {Kaitlin-02/2012}
I was asked by a follower and friend to design her an outfit for an upcoming Wedding that she is to attend in February. From chatting with her online and following her Blog, I tapped into her style and instantly thought of Zooey Deschanel. After coming to her with my style verdict, she replied "nailed it". Hmmmmm maybe I was born to do this? What do you think?

She asked that I make her an outfit with a fabulously fun unlimited budget and them a "back down to reality" $200 budget. I am happy to say I created 2 gorgeous outfits that will not only look brilliant on her, but under budget. You know what that means, she can spend the balance she budgeted on me!!! Merry Christmas to Moi...

So Kaitlin, what do you think? Tell me.... you going for the "Sweet as Pie" look with the mellow yellow clutch or the "Animal Instinct" outfit with the dainty lace socks?

If you are interested in me creating you and outfit for an upcoming Event, don't hesitate to drop me a line with information such as Event Details, Budget, your Celebrity Style and any other ideas you had. I just love doing this for people, especially when it isn't my money I'm spending.... Hurry! Get me to make you a signature outfit now... before I start charging so my services {hey!? we can all dream can't we}.
